Research and Grants

In addition to our free wig provision, we fund research into finding better treatments for childhood cancers.

We fund vital, innovative research into finding better treatments for children's cancers, that will make a real difference to young lives.

In line with our original objectives of providing free real-hair wigs to children and young people up to the age of 24 experiencing hair loss as a result of cancer treatment and other conditions, we also support the development of less aggressive and less toxic cancer treatments. Our hope is that one day, this research will lead to finding a cure for paediatric cancers.

Since 2016, we have committed more than £5million across almost 50 projects into many types of childhood cancers.

This incredible opportunity has only been made possible as a result of the phenomenal work that our fantastic fundraisers do. We are continually blown away by the staggering sums of money that you raise, as well as the invaluable hair donations that we receive.
